I have been attending Gidea Park Dental for a few years now – the service has always been amazing, and I have found them to be very thorough and caring. The dentists are obviously very knowledgeable – being a GP myself, I know how important patient satisfaction is, and this is obviously something they take seriously. I am a nervous patient; however, I am always made to feel at ease. Definitely a place to go for top quality service and attention to detail.

Gidea Park Dental Practice has been my lifelong practice since I was a young lad back in the 70’s. In more recent ‘decades’ since he took over the practice, for +20 years Abid has been my regular dentist looking after my gnashers, which I admit have been no easy ‘life-project’ for him and his great team. I grew up in Romford, but even when I eventually moved and was living in London and now near Southend with my wife and kids, we continued being a member of GPDP and had no intentions of looking elsewhere. A highly recommended dental practice, one that is caring, professional and aware of a patient’s needs, my wife and three kids have always been at ease when attending their appointments. If you have any concerns about going to the dentist, no matter how long it may have been since your last visit, or if ever at all; speak to the reception team they will give you all the advice and reassurances that you will possibly need. “When I arrive at the practice the receptionists always make me feel welcome. They are well presented in their appearance. Once I go into the surgery Mr. Abdulkhaliq puts me at ease. He is happy to explain any procedure that he is going to carry out. The dental nurses are very friendly and put you at ease. This practice is great with extremely nervous patients. I speak from experience. I’ve been going for some years now and they have always been friendly calm competent and understanding. Abid is a great dentist – He finally persuaded me that having a broken off crown post drilled out and a replacement crown made and fitted would be fine and it was. I’d put it off for some years. Really nice people – if you are reading this because you need a dentist but are worried about going this is the practice for you. You will be in very good hands.

​If you’re thinking of having an implant then this is the place to go. Ask for Alex, he’s an expert in this field. I have had several implants and all have been very successful. He explains things every step of the way putting you at ease. His attentive dental nurses also make the experience a ‘No hassle scenario’. Overall, a five-star recommendation.

I recently had my implant fitted by Alex Tahalani. I can’t thank him enough for all the care and attention he gave me during the process and he was also super patient and informative when I had lots of questions. I feel he listened to me carefully and eased my concerns before and during the process. Thanks so much for an excellent job. I also want to thank the lab on an absolutely sterling job making my actual tooth!! I now have my smile back. Thanks again.

​5 stars is not enough for this practise. I would give them so many more. They are always so friendly and welcoming and make you feel so at ease with each visit. They go above and beyond to help you to get the right treatment. Jonathan who is my dentist has gone out of his way to help me with my teeth. I have even moved out of area to Wales and I still come back to Essex to this amazing team. Thank you.

In October 2017, during a routine check-up. My Dentist Jonathan Worton spotted something suspicious on my throat and referred me to my GP. In the space of three months, I was referred from my GP to a thyroid specialist, underwent a scan and biopsy, had a six-and-a-half-hour operation and received radio ionisation treatment. All of this was done on the NHS. Being told you have cancer is the most frightening experience. I was devastated – The surgeon at Queens hospital said I’m incredibly lucky that my Dentist spotted this so early. I am hugely grateful to my Dentist Jonathan Worton and all the NHS staff at Queens who have helped and supported me.”

I have been seeing Dr Misbah Junaid as my dentist for the last few years-even moving surgeries to have her treat my teeth! She is calm and instantly puts me at ease. All procedures are explained and my many questions answered. She is also fantastic with children! The kids enjoy coming in to see Dr Misbah, she explains what she’s doing and why-and always with a smile. It’s a wonderful practice with great staff.

I really can’t thank the practice enough, reception staff were very friendly and informative and Misbah was compassionate, put me at ease and stopped the dreadful pain I was experiencing. Would definitely recommend Misbah she was amazing.

Following several visits with Mr. Abdulkhaliq, I was fitted with a denture and two bridges and they have made a huge difference to me. Regaining my confidence and being able to eat, talk, and smile without a worry is wonderful and it feels great.”

First visited as an emergency patient in 2005, bad dentistry elsewhere leaving me with an infected filling and needing a root canal. I signed as a patient the same day; the surgery is immaculate and appointments always available and on time. Excellent staff from reception, dental nurse, hygienist and the dentist. I now take my wife and two-year-old daughter too.

Within half an hour, I was numbed, had x rays and had treatment to alleviate my pain. Very friendly and jovial… considering I’d interrupted Friday night out. He talked through the x rays, explained the issues/problem, treated me and sent me on my way pain free. Faultless service. Would definitely use again.

“I have always been unhappy with the colour of my teeth and quite uncertain about using teeth bleaching products however, Abid and his team made me feel really comfortable and at ease with using this product. Everything about bleaching was explained to me in great detail and now I have the perfect white teeth I can really smile about! Thank you!”

I regularly visit Lana, the hygienist. She is very kind and gentle, but also very thorough. She never rushes. She explains things to me in a way that I understand. She has done a brilliant job on my teeth. I would highly recommend her without any hesitation.
